There are days that I am unable to open my eyes due to severe eye pain and constant eye swelling. I do my best to stay motivated and uplifted.

And yet, it is often during those most difficult times that I get my clearest connection with my core intuition and I feel God’s Spirit most. It is in those times when I call to Him through prayer that I find the depths of my strength.

Sometimes it seems that my tears do not stop falling. Some days it is all that I can do to stand and try to make it through my day.

I am sharing this with you so that you realize we all have battles to fight. I want you to know that you are never alone. Even when you feel your worst, God is sending you His best.

If I had never felt the deepest pain, understood the darkest valleys and walked through the fire, I would not have a testimony or a purpose in your life. There is always a bright spot, silver lining and a different way to look at our struggles. There is also always a way through our pain. We must keep walking forward, pushing past difficulties, challenges, and pain to find our purpose and to fulfill our God-given destiny.

I have written songs, prayers and poetry to God ever since I learned to write in the 2nd or 3rd grade. I never knew that the words in my heart would have so much meaning. Thank you for helping me find a bigger purpose for my pain and for my life. Thank you for helping me find joy in my hardest days.

The light that is You has a special place in my heart. It is where I lay my heart open in prayer to God and I ask Him the toughest questions of my heart. Through my faith and my unwavering belief in Him as a loving Father that I imagine what His loving response is to His beloved child crying out for a deeper understanding.the light that is you: conversations of love
